Drawings don't show in a recording or screen share

Share or record your entire screen instead of a single window. LivePen draws in its own layer on top of everything, and capturing one app’s window leaves that layer out.

In a video call

When you start sharing, choose your whole screen or desktop rather than a specific app or window.

In a recording or streaming app

Capture the display rather than a window. In OBS, for example, use a Display Capture source instead of a Window Capture source.

Check the display

LivePen draws on your primary display only. If you share or record a second monitor, drawings won’t appear there. See Drawing on a second monitor.

Full-screen games

Games running in exclusive full-screen mode don’t show LivePen at all, even on screen. Switch the game to windowed or borderless mode if you need to draw over it.
