Move your licence to a new Mac

A LivePen licence works on up to 3 Macs that you use yourself. To move it, deactivate it on the old Mac, then enter the key on the new one.

Move the licence

1. On the old Mac, click the pen in the menu bar and choose Preferences…
2. Choose Deactivate this Mac. This frees one of your 3 slots.
3. On the new Mac, install LivePen.
4. Click the pen in the menu bar, choose Enter licence… and paste your key.

Deactivating needs an internet connection.

If you see “Activation limit reached”

Your key is already active on 3 Macs. Free a slot in one of two ways:

• Deactivate this Mac on a Mac you still have, as above.
• Manage purchase. If the old Mac is gone, sold or won’t start, sign in at www.creem.io/my-orders/login with the email you paid with. Each activation is listed under the name of the Mac it’s on, such as “Ada’s MacBook Pro”, so you can tell them apart.

Then enter the key on the new Mac again.

One person, several Macs

The 3 Macs are for one person. If someone else wants to use LivePen, they need their own licence. See the terms.
